Vegan Cakes- Who'd have thought it?


Back to Basics is managed and run by the same people as The Gallery Cafe, a predominately Vegan Cafe. I have been asked to contribute my baking skills. Now I am well versed with baked goods as you know but without eggs, this could be tricky. Fortunately the Vegan Society website was on hand with a particularly amazing recipe for Victoria sponge which went down a treat.

Its more than I can say for the disgusting batch of vegan brownies which i just made that tasted like an oil slick on a plate...... yuck.......
